Living Stations of the Cross

The Living Stations of the Cross is a passion play presented by parishioners of St. Mary Parish. It is a narration, along with music and acting. Above all, it is a prayer. The performance will occur on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, beginning at 3PM in the back of St. Mary School. We have a procession through the neighborhood and come back to the Church grounds where the Crucifixion takes place.

Passover Seder Meal

St. Mary School Gym

March 20

6:30-8:00 pm

Jesus instituted the Eucharist in the midst of the Passover Meal. A Christian Seder a moment of honoring our Jewish roots and discovering what this Last Supper would have felt (and tasted) like. Please join Fr. Andy and the Ydisciple Youth Group as we experience the Passover Meal with singing, authentic food, and fun and games for the whole family! OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES!                     Please contact Fr. Andy at adavy@saintmaryplano.com by March 15, if interested in coming (or in bringing a dish). Hope to see you there!

Cracow WYD 2016

In July of 2016, Father Andy will personally lead a band of sixteen pilgrims as they embark on a pilgrimage designed especially for them by Pope St. John Paul II: WORLD YOUTH DAY. These young adults set out as our parish ambassadors for this world wide celebration with Pope Francis in Poland. There they will learn to ”be not afraid” and to “open wide the doors of Christ” as they hear the pope’s message for the YEAR OF MERCY: Blessed are the Merciful.  Each one of these young people is committed to raising the money needed to embark on this pilgrimage. At $3,000 per pilgrim, however, the task of raising the funds isn’t easy. Will you support the cause of these youth and thus the future of our parish?
