Parish Revenue and Expenses
Our finance council has made the decision to stop reporting Sunday collections verses budgeted expenses in the parish bulletin and replace this with a different report. The current report is not an accurate picture of the financial position of the parish because we are not just a church taking up weekly Sunday collections. We also operate a Religious Education program and a Catholic School both of which have revenue and expenses that need to be reported.
To provide the parish with transparent reports on an ongoing basis we have decided that we will provide you with an ongoing report of our total income verses expenses monthly. The monthly report will be posted once all financial accounting has been entered for the month. Therefore, January will be posted late February or Early March, March will be posted late April or Early May, etc.
As we add the post for each new month to the website we will also publish that one month in our bulletin (page 7).
Annually we will continue to publish a total report for the fiscal year (July – June) both in the bulletin and online.
